English Teacher Franca Di Marco suggested a different activity during this week for 2nd grade students: “Makerspaces”. The Embassy of the United States gave the Uruguayan-American Alliance robotics kits to work with the teenagers and Franca asked that some were taken to the Liceo in order to work with her students.
It was an excellent opportunity for them. We deeply thank the Alliance, the Embassy and our Teacher Di Marco for this initiative.
On August 19, a group of students from our artistic gymnastics workshop headed by Prof. Helena Arambillet, participated in the Biguá Cup, competing at A level.
This was without a doubt an experience that enriches our workshop and gives the students the possibility to broaden their practice, and if they want to, continue with their training in other institutions.
