On March 28 and 29, second grade children had their camp at Villa Bautista, La Tuna. Both students and adults spent two wonderful days together. The weather was perfect to enjoy all the recreational activities, games and walk in the beach, sports, dance, evening games and bonfire. 10 points camp!
We reflected on the use of water!
For the International Women’s Day, students from first, second and third grade English class made posters as a graphical representation of different concepts. They practiced their knowledge of English by using adjectives and/or phrases inside women’s outlines, which symbolized a celebration of the day for them. The results were surprising, with great educational and creative content.
Within the History programme and regarding Women’s International Day, in March 8 we received the visit of grandmothers Cristina Iriarte in 4th 1 and Ida González in 4th 2.
Both grandmas shared their life story, memories and experiences. We reflected about women’s role in the XX and XXI and the importance of the transmission of history orally as a source of knowledge.
Finishing a great year! Happy holidays!
2nd grade organized its own end-of-year trip to Paso Severino. They enjoyed a day in the pool and other activities. The trip was organized and funded by the students by themselves. A great experience!
Our English teachers organized an activity with their students to thank everything they’ve lived throughout this year. The children hung their thank you messages on the tree. There are also blank sheets of paper where family and staff can write their notes and hung them. What a beautiful idea!!!
