In 2015, Fundación Retoño Uruguay started building Liceo Espigas, which opened on March 1^st and was officially inaugurated in May 2016.Watch video.

Nina Gorrisen von Maltzahn, our founder and main donor, always dreamt about completing a full cycle in the education of children and youth who live in a highly vulnerable socio-economic context, which she finally achieved through the incorporation of Liceo Espigas to the Foundation's multiple projects.
